Hi Everyone,

I just finished my 30th and final Draw Dinovember post last night! I want to say a quick thank you to everyone who followed along with my Dinovember posts last month and the first week of December.  I really appreciate all the feedback and comments I received.  Also thanks for being so patient as the posts overlapped into December due to a couple breaks I had to take.

November was a really fun month.  CTN went well.  I had a great time tabling at the show.  So many cool people came by the booth to say hi and check out what I had for sale and on display.  Some of the highlights for me were getting to have a booth right next to one of my favorite creature designers Brynn Methenny.  She's also the first artist I saw participating in Draw Dinovember in 2014 and made me want to jump in this year.  Daniel E. De León stopped by with his awesome 1/6th scale 3d printed Velociraptor which is now officially on my Christmas wishlist.  I was very excited to See Terryl Whitlatch, another of my all time favorite creature designers, who was nice enough to sign two copies of her newest creature design books for me.  Really so many great people I had the pleasure to meet and talk to.  Definitely one of the best CTN experiences I've had to date.

The next few weeks are probably going to get a bit quiet with the holidays coming up and trying to recuperate from the events of the past month.

I've already started to think about what I would like to achieve in the next year.  I have a bunch of ideas for projects I'd like to start working on.  I think its safe to say there will definitely be more dinos.  In addition, I will be getting back into some creature design, so expect a few monsters to pop up here and there, and maybe even some fan art just for fun.

Thanks again, and Happy Holidays everyone!

I am a Colorado based illustrator and concept artist currently working full time in the videogames industry

I received my education at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. I have studied a variety of visual media both inside and outside of school including digital and traditional illustration and painting techniques as well as digital and traditional methods of sculpture.

I have a passion for all aspects of art and art making. However, my strong interest in biology, paleontology, and comparative anatomy has given me a great appreciation for paleoart, wildlife illustration and creature design. I try to learn as much as I can from nature in an effort to accurately represent life from the real world and infuse my own fictitious creatures with a greater sense of believability.

Just wanted to attest to the wonderful quality of your Dinovember work! This is a fantastic gallery with a lot of impressive work but these 30 most recent deviations might deserve the most praise of all. I love the dramatic poses, foreshortening, and attention to textural detail, they're a great mix of aesthetic beauty and scientific accuracy. You can find a lot of paleo-art on DA with one or the other but rarely both, I feel. These are some of the most convincing and best looking dinosaurs I've seen in a long time so I felt like I just had to comment. If you're not already immensely proud of what you've done, I think you should be. :)

I don't remember if I had told you this before or not, but thank you!!! Thank you for not jumping on the bandwagon that just about everyone else has... you know the one where every dinosaur they draw, paint, or sculpt has to have feathers, or dino-fur..... I do agree that most very well may have had feathers or dino-fur, but not all of em! it's only logical that the larger the species, the less likely they would have had some form of insulation unless they lived on a glacier! which they didn't... Yes, the species in the arctic and Antarctic locals have a far better case for said insulation, that only makes sense, but all of them???? ok.... sorry.... venting..... going away now....
